Yes, You Are in the Right Place

Rest assured, this is still A Study in Contradictions. We've just had a bit of a face-lift.

Many many exciting things are happening in the lives of Mr & Mrs.P in May, but one of the more exciting things for me is that this blog turns 1!. I can't believe it's almost been a year since I entered this crazy, wonderful world of blogging. So, I felt in preparation for the bloger-brations (see what I did there?!) it was time for a bit of a change. I hope you like it and it doesn't burn your retinas! It looks ok on my screen anyway!

As well as taking greater ownership of my images (hence the new copyright on them you'll start to see and the registering of kyliepurtell.com) I wanted to create a space that was truely mine. I am not ashamed of anything I've posted on this blog and as such I see no point in not putting my name on it. So I have.

I have lots of exciting things planned to celebrate the 'blogoversary', some giveaways and other fun stuff, and I would like to invite you guys to help me celebrate in a tangible way too (apart from just entering the giveaway of course!) by contributing a little something, but more on that soon.

The first thing I'll be doing to celebrate is to run a guessing comp. It will run for a month from Sunday the 28th, but you'll have to check back here on Sunday to get the details and find out what you'll be guessing (I'll give you a hint, it has to do with frequency. Read into that what you will, but be sure to check back on Sunday.
