Thankful Thursday - The Little Things
Quick bullet points today...
I'm thankful for good friends, who lift me up and hold me close
Thankful for my beautiful girls, I am so lucky and so blessed to have them.
Thankful for my amazing family, the love we share, the support we give each other, and the fact that we all genuinely like each other.
Thankful for our neighbour's friend, who when he saw Dave mowing the front lawn last week came over and offered to do it for him on his ride-on. They pulled the side fence down together and he also did the back lawn. No small task as we live on a quarter-acre block with a lot of grass!
Thankful for family that can change their plans and help me with the girls for whatever reason.
Thankful that I am feeling better. I was struck down with one of the worst migraines I've ever had, it last a good day and a half and the hangover from it even longer. It's not until we are sick that we truly appreciate good health, and I am so thankful to be fit and healthy most of the time.
Thankful that Dave's work are understanding and that he was able to take a couple of days off to care for the girls when I couldn't get out of bed and barely lift my arms.
Thankful that despite a crappy two weeks food & exercise-wise, that I only put on 200g and am still on track.
Thankful for the life I have and everything in it. I am blessed beyond measure and it's easy to forget that day-to-day but I know how lucky I am and I thankful for it.
