Lagoona Matata (Hello 2016!) | Life
2016 has dawned and on the first day of the year we took advantage of the fine weather and headed to Pughs Lagoon in Richmond for some duck feeding. Now it's 5 days in to the New Year and I've been going well with my resolution to take more photos, especially in the documentary style family photography way...
You might have noticed that I've made a few changes around the blog, bringing it more inline with my visual storytelling direction that I plan to take in 2016. The images in this post are the kind of family photography that I would love to do more of as the year goes on. If you're in Sydney and interested in having your family documented in this way please check out Kylie Purtell Photography here for more info.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year break and are looking forward to a great year ahead! I wanted to thank you for coming on this adventure with me and I look forward to sharing my images and reading your words in 2016.
Did you get up to anything fun on New Years Day? How were your Christmas and NY celebrations?
P.S. Thanks to Emily Hawker for her suggestion of the title of this post, Lagoona Matata.
