Picture This: Happy Birthday to Me {April & May 2016} | Photography & Life

In April & May I took 3500 photos. Yep. I know. And that doesn't even include the 3000-odd I took while shooting my first wedding! I'm almost done editing that wedding, it's taken a lot longer than I anticipated and I will definitely factor that in for next time! It was an awesome experience, and I can't wait to shoot my sister-in-law's wedding next month.

Today is my birthday
and I'm super excited with the presents I got. I'm taking the plunge, and using my new-to-me Canon EOS 1N 35mm film camera to start experimenting with analog photography again. It's definitely going to be fun finding my feet with film, and I'm looking forward to the challenge.

My other present is the Zoe bag from Lilah Snow. Lilah Snow makes the most amazing and gorgeous camera handbags. I already own the Pippi, and my lovely Zoe will house my new film SLR camera. I'll have a review of my bags on the blog very shortly. I figure it's only fitting to photograph the bag with my film camera, so I'll need to get those developed and scanned before I can put together the post.

So, without further ado, here are my favourite images from the months of April & May. Keep an eye out for my June & July best of images which will, fingers crossed, include some of my first film images in almost 10 years!
