Over the weekend we had a little (and I do mean little!) get together for my birthday. My Brother-in-law, his fiancee, and my sister-in-law came round with a new fire pit and we brewed up some mulled wine and introduced the girls to s'mores.
The girls both tried one and seemed to enjoy it, but to be honest they were way more interested in just toasting (and setting fire to) the marshmallows. The adults, however, thoroughly enjoyed the s'mores. And the mulled wine, perhaps a bit too much, judging by the epic hangover I was nursing on Sunday!
It was a lovely way to spend a Saturday evening, just relaxing and hanging out with people I love. Here's to more weekends just like that in the future!
