3 Days of Spring | Life
On Sunday the weather was glorious. Beautifully warm in the sunshine, blissfully cool in the shade, with just the hint of a breeze and a riot of colour from the blossoms and blue sky.
Yesterday was even better.
And today is shaping up to be just the same.
Tomorrow?
Well, tomorrow, summer starts.
The forecast for the next few days out here in the Hawkesbury is 29. 29. That's summer weather, that is. And I don't like it one bit!
It's no secret that I'm not a fan of summer heat. I was more than a little annoyed that my favourite season, autumn, only managed to arrive and depart over the course of about 2 weeks this year. So to see that we are going to be getting some hot temperatures when it's not even the middle of September?
Not happy, Jan!
I suppose I should get used to it. Let's face it, the world isn't going to get any cooler anytime soon.
So on Sunday, after not having had a camera in my hand for the better part of two weeks, I decided we could all do with some fresh air and spring sunshine and go for a nice long walk down the road.
The girls were more than pleased after a few days of rain. I wish it would rain more. It can be tiresome, but by gosh we really do need it. Here's hoping we'll get some more good spring rain before the summer season sets in in earnest.
Until that happens, or the heat gets too much to contemplate spending time outdoors in daylight hours, we'll make the most of this beautiful weather, and hopefully we'll get a few more lovely walks in like this one...
